Ok, let me start by saying I rate my self as "Guy that power users go to when they need an answer." I've rolled my own computers and done my own tweaking since 1994. So we can avoid the "Did you try turning the computer off" kinds of replies
I decided to give TweakVista a try because it was included with my ObjectDesktop Ultimate subscription. And I like looking over tweaking utilities. Even though I realize I can do this stuff myself with a bit of research.
So that is a great big preamble leading to my question(s). I used the Services feature of TV to turn of specific features, rather than use the great big "Make it faster" Buttons. However, I noticed that when I unchecked the "DHCP Client" Service, the service was still running and marked to start automatically in the Vista Admin services.msc tool.
Question: When does TV turn off services when you use the tool? Is this a bug? Is there some condition that keeps the service running even if I turn it off via TV?
