Any updates since the release?

So have there been any updates or patches to ObjectDock 2.0 since its release? I always uninstall Impulse after installing ObjectDock because I have no use for the program other than updates. Reading the Forums here it appears to me that there aren't many users of OD 2 since the posts are few and far between.

Please let me know if there are or will be patches and I will check back every few months.

One but I would really like to see is the delay problem in the System Tray on a Tabbed Dock. For those who have forgotten:

When you put the System Tray in a Tabbed Dock and right click on a System Tray Icon for that Applications menu the Tabbed Dock closes when the Mouse moves out of the Dock area. This causes the Application menu to close with it. So you can't select an item from the menu unless you are lucky and the item you want is in the Area covered by the Tabbed Dock and the mouse stays over the Dock long enough to make the selection. Really annoying.

ObjectDock v2 is still supported. I'm not aware of any patches for ObjectDock scheduled to be released soon. The best way to keep up to date is to keep Impulse installed.

I don't think keeping one superfluous piece of software installed for months so that they can distribute rare updates is worth the resources. For something as infrequently updated as OD the best approach would be for them to send us notifications of a Patch file that can be applied.

Impulse is a waste of system resources as far as I can see. As it has very few options for the user to dictate when it will and will not run I prefer to leave it in the recycle bin.

Assuming you disable Impulse Now (option in Impulse), it will simply sit on your HD doing nothing.  It will not be running or using resources other than HD space unless you manually start it.

Duh! Even I figured that out.

It just sits there until you need it. It's like AFLAC. "If the world was perfect, it wouldn't be."
